We recommend checking your roof at least twice a year—fall and spring when the weather tends to be milder—to help spot any problems before upcoming weather cycles to make sure that the roof will be prepared for the upcoming changes in temperature and potential seasonal weather hazards.
It’s also a good idea to have your roof inspected after major weather events that involve high winds or hail. Even new roofs should be inspected after this type of situation because bad weather has the ability to damage or ruin a roof no matter what it’s age.
On residential re-roofing projects, payment is due in full upon substantial completion of your roof. We will walk you through the payment process depending on how you are paying for the project, via financing options, private pay, or through an insurance claim.
For insurance claims, you will receive an initial check from your insurance company and a second check as soon as the roof is completed and your insurance company has received an invoice. We ask for the first check from your insurance company as soon as you receive it. Your J&K Roofing representative will invoice your insurance company for the remainder of the roof upon completion. The final payment is due when you receive your second check. This is usually about 7-10 business days from the completion of your roof. We are insurance claim experts and will walk you through the process.
We request payment in thirds for more extensive or commercial projects: 1/3 upon material delivery, 1/3 mid-way through the project installation, and the final 1/3 upon completion.
New construction payment follows the specifics of the contract documents for the project.
